About Us

The Multi-CountryDemobilization and Reintegration Program (MDRP) is a multi-agency effort that operated from 2002 to 2009 to support the demobilization and reintegration of ex-combatants in the greater Great Lakes region of Central Africa.

The largest program of its kind in the world, MDRP reached an estimated 300,000 ex-combatants in seven countries: Angola, Burundi, the Central African Republic, the Democratic Republic of Congo, the Republic of Congo, Rwanda and Uganda.
